πŸŽ‰ Celebrating Samaritans Week is here! πŸŽ‰
Across all Samaritan hospitals and clinics, we’re celebrating our amazing staff and volunteers with small gifts, sweet treats and fun activities. On Tuesday at our Newport hospital, there was a free taco fiesta served up to employees by managers and executives plus an online SamFit stretching session for those employees who spend their days at a desk. Although each hospital adds its own flair to the week, one thing stays the same across our system:
πŸ’™ A shared commitment to appreciating the incredible people who care for our communities every day. πŸ’›
Thank you to our teams for all you do β€” this week is for YOU! πŸ‘

Audible sounds of amazement filled the conference room as astrophotographer Jeremy Likness projected his images on a large screen during our hospital's annual Volunteer Recognition Celebration. The owner of Deep Sky Workflows, Jeremy entranced the audience with his stories and photos. πŸŒ– πŸ“· 🌠

Equally entrancing were the statistics shared at the event. Last year, 73 volunteers donated 12,177 hours of service to our hospital, patients and staff. The value of this work is estimated at more than $443,000! Guys, gals, teens and four-legged volunteers - you are indeed OUT OF THIS WORLD! πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’œ Thanks for your service to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital. We appreciate you.
