Shoulder complaints are some of the most frequently encountered complaints among my patients. Often they aren't issues that an adjustment or manual therapy would completely fix, many having roots in rotator cuff dysfunction or injury. Rotator cuff muscles are susceptible to injury are often neglected in most exercise programs. Usually it's the 65+ population that starts to feel the cumulative effects of a lifetime of shoulder abuse, but nobody is immune from shoulder pain. Shoulder rotator cuff exercises can protect you from future pain or injury, and is also a cornerstone for most shoulder rehabilitation programs.

VACATION TIME!!!
Dr. Bishop and Beckie will be out of the office until September 9th for a much needed vacation!
Beckie will be checking messages on the 9th, so it's going to be a little while before anyone can call you back if you leave a message. Sue will be continuing operations as normal, and we have an exciting upcoming announcement for a new massage therapist to our team, Dani, who will be setting up this week. Stay tuned!
I do not have anyone coving chiropractic care since the front desk is also closed, so if you have an urgent need please feel free to visit one of the wonderful other DC's in town, present to your primary care, walk in clinic, or the SHS emergency department. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
Beckie is going to be visiting family, and Dr. Bishop will be visiting Victora BC and Port Townsend for the boat festival, so if you have any recommendations of fun things in the area you'd like to share, drop them in the comments!

Someone was in such a hurry to get in yesterday they tried to drive into our lobby! The front entrance will look a little different for a while, but we're going to do out best to keep up business as usual. The front doorway is currently boarded up, we'll use the back door which is just 10 feet to the left. One thing to be noted, the back door has no way to permanently unlock, so if the door is closed just sit tight and we'll come check for you.
