Starting July 1, 2026, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is launching the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge demonstration program. This pilot program is designed to provide eligible Medicare Part D beneficiaries with access to certain GLP-1 medications.
Are you eligible? To qualify, patients must meet specific clinical criteria, have prior authorization from a doctor, and be enrolled in an eligible plan (like a standalone prescription drug plan or a Medicare Advantage plan).
