🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

This month, we're celebrating the strength, resilience, diversity, and joy of LGBTQ+ communities while also recognizing the importance of equitable, affirming mental health care for all.

Eating disorders affect people of all genders and sexualities, yet LGBTQ+ individuals often face increased risk due to stigma, discrimination, and barriers to care.

According to The Trevor Project, nearly 9 in 10 LGBTQ+ youth report body dissatisfaction, and LGBTQ+ youth experience significantly higher rates of eating disorders than their heterosexual and cisgender peers.

Swipe through to explore some of the incredible LGBTQ+-affirming organizations, authors, and resources we're highlighting this month. We know this list only scratches the surface, so we'd love to hear from you—drop your favorite organizations, advocates, and resources in the comments! 👇🌈

Everyone deserves access to compassionate, inclusive, and affirming support.

Happy Pride Month! 💜

Healing can be quiet (and still revolutionary).

Real change often grows in those everyday moments of care and compassion. You don’t have to prove your healing for it to be real.

Even the quiet steps count. We see you.

Meal support can make some of the hardest moments in eating disorder recovery feel less overwhelming.

In this blog from our friends at Within Health, Shaun Riebl, PhD, RDN, explores how compassionate meal support helps individuals navigate anxiety around food, build coping skills, and practice recovery in real time.

From structured support during meals to guidance for families and loved ones, this piece highlights why no one should have to face recovery alone.

Diet culture thrives on self-doubt.

It benefits when you question your body, your hunger, and your worth.

You are not a problem to fix. And your worth is not something to earn.

Recovery includes learning to question those messages, and gently reconnect with your own inner wisdom. Recovery isn’t just personal. It’s collective.

Every step toward self-trust helps create a more compassionate world for Every Body. We’re in this together.

Join us TOMORROW, May 15th from 12-1 p.m ET for a Networking with a Purpose featuring Dr. Wendy Oliver-Pyatt of Within Health for her presentation, “Beyond Control: The Soul of OCD Plus - From Fear to Connection.”

When working with OCD and eating disorders, it can sometimes feel like we’re chasing symptom relief without reaching the deeper roots of healing. This session invites clinicians into a more compassionate, connected approach - one that honors the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

In this presentation, you’ll:
• Trace the evolution of OCD treatment and understanding
• Explore approaches beyond ERP, including psychodynamic and integrative models
• Deepen your understanding of the connection between OCD and eating disorders.
