Since 2015, The Recovery Team Cape Cod in East Falmouth, Massachusetts has helped adults get support for addiction, mental health struggles, and both at the same time.

A big part of what makes this place what it is comes down to the people behind the care. Executive Director Casey Burke, LADC-II, CADC, BBA, brings more than 10 years of experience in addiction treatment leadership. Medical Director Dr. Sarah Calnan, MD, is double board-certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine. They work alongside a team that combines clinical experience with a personal understanding of recovery.

Treatment can include Full Day Treatment (PHP), Partial Day Treatment (IOP), and Outpatient Treatment (OP), along with proven approaches like CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, family therapy, and relapse prevention.

And treatment here goes beyond the therapy room. Depending on your plan, you may also take part in yoga, equine therapy, acupuncture, art or music therapy, fishing, beach outings, and walks along the Cape Cod Canal.

If you or someone you love is looking for addiction or mental health treatment in Massachusetts, call (888) 474-0185 to talk with our admissions team or visit https://www.recoveryteam.org/locations/cape-cod/ for more information.

The Recovery Team – North Little Rock is celebrating two years of providing addiction and mental health treatment in North Little Rock, Arkansas. 🎉

Two years ago, we opened our doors on Smart House Drive. Our goal was simple. Adults facing addiction and mental health challenges deserved support close to home, with a team that truly shows up for them.

Since then, we have been helping people and families across Central Arkansas take that first step toward recovery, while staying connected to their work, family, and community.

Our North Little Rock program now holds a 5.0-star rating, and the reviews speak to the things that matter most when you’re trying to get your life back on track: staff people remember by name, case managers who help with real-life needs like transportation, groups that give people tools they can actually use, and a team that treats each person like a person, not a problem.

Here's what this location offers:
✔ Partial hospitalization (day treatment) and outpatient care for adults
✔ Treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions, including trauma
✔ Evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing
✔ Medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
✔ GeneSight testing to help guide medication decisions
✔ Holistic practices like meditation
✔ Family involvement, relapse prevention, and case management
✔ Joint Commission accredited care
✔ Treatment covered by insurance

To our North Little Rock team, our community partners, and every person who trusted us with their story over these two years, thank you for being part of this journey.

Here's to the next chapter! If you or someone you love is looking for addiction treatment, outpatient rehab, or mental health care in the Little Rock, Arkansas area, call The Recovery Team at (888) 474-0185.

An opioid overdose may be reversed. That is the entire point of today.

Administer naloxone. Call 911. Stay until help comes.

Naloxone works in two to three minutes and does not harm someone who is not overdosing, so administer it even if you are unsure.

The person who reverses an overdose is rarely a paramedic. It is whoever is there.

25 years of International Overdose Awareness Day. Still needed.

Support is available any hour at (800) 817-1247

✨ The Recovery Team - Cape Cod ✨ is celebrating 11 years of healing in Falmouth this week!

Eleven years ago, we had a vision. People facing addiction and mental health challenges deserved more than a clinical program. They deserved a place where real healing could happen, with a place that could be called home and a team that truly showed up for them.

Over the past eleven years, that vision has become a reality for hundreds of families across Massachusetts and beyond.

Right here in Falmouth, that commitment shows up every day through a team focused on helping people get through one of the hardest moments of their life with real support, real direction, and real care.

This location offers:
✅ Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient programs with flexible day and evening options
✅ Separate dedicated tracks for substance use and primary mental health conditions
✅ Dual diagnosis care for co-occurring addiction and mental health conditions
✅ Evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, trauma-focused counseling, and MAT
✅ Holistic therapies, including equine therapy, yoga, acupuncture, Reiki, art, music, and nutrition counseling
✅ Family therapy and alumni support for lasting recovery beyond treatment
✅ Joint Commission Gold Seal accredited care, earned by fewer than 20% of treatment providers nationwide
✅ Hundreds of 5-star reviews and treatment covered by most insurance plans

To our Cape Cod staff, community partners, and every person who trusted us with their story over these eleven years, thank you for being part of this journey.

Here's to continuing to help people take that first step forward. 💙

PROUD TO BE FROM NEWTON.

At Recovery Team Newton, we believe that personal experience is our greatest asset in helping others heal. Jess Grillo, our Director of Business Development, shares how her journey from the streets of Newton to a life of purpose is fueling a new era of local support:

Community as the Foundation: Recovery is personal. Being from Newton and giving back to the same streets where the struggle began creates a unique bond of trust.

Asset over Hindrance: Being a woman in long-term recovery isn't a secret to be kept—it is a powerful tool and an asset that helps bridge the gap between families and care.

Breaking the Stigma: By standing proud as a parent and a community member, we replace the "Oxy epidemic" era of silence with a loud, unified voice of hope.

When we are proud of our recovery, we show others that a better way of life is possible right here at home.

GIVE IT AWAY TO KEEP IT.

At Recovery Team Newton, we believe that true healing begins when we look beyond ourselves. Michael Leggiero, our Managing Partner, shares the essential pillars for moving from rock bottom to a life of purpose:

Surrender to Win: Recovery starts when we stop our own thinking and follow the direction of those who have walked the path before us.

Service as a Lifeline: Helping others isn't just a choice—it is the vital component that makes long-term recovery possible.

Honesty as the Antidote: Radical honesty is the only way to break through the "disease thinking" that keeps us stuck.

When we focus on helping others, we find the strength to save ourselves.

At The Recovery Team, we believe healing happens when we step outside of ourselves to support one another. Jim Faust, founder of Adam’s Parachute, shares the power of finding purpose:

Connection as the Cure: We don’t heal alone; we heal by walking each other home.

Mindfulness in Nature: The river teaches us to let go of the past and find peace in the present.

Empathy as a Superpower: Suffering grants us the unique ability to love others through their pain.

Adam’s Legacy: Inspired by a son who gave his "parachute" to save another, we turn passion into a lifeline.

When we focus on helping others, we find the strength to heal ourselves.

“Safety is the foundation for everything we do.”

At The Recovery Team, therapy isn’t about judgment. It’s about creating a dedicated space where you can finally be yourself.

Daphne Preti, LCSW, shares the pillars of our clinical approach:

Partnership, Not Authority: We aren't your "boss"—we are resources on your team.
Radical Honesty: Setbacks are part of the process. As long as we stay honest, we keep moving forward.
The Power of Small Wins: If you showed up sober today, you’re crushing it.

When the narrative shifts from surviving to thriving, real recovery begins.

THE BLUEPRINT FOR A NEW LIFE. 🏆

“I don’t want to just overcome addiction to live a mediocre life.”

At The Recovery Team, recovery isn’t about doing the minimum.
It’s about building discipline, purpose, and higher standards.

Co-owner Michael Leggiero shares the Recovery Team philosophy behind our approach:
• Reject mediocrity
• High standards, low ego
• The power of the team

When the right people surround you, recovery becomes more than survival.
It becomes real progress.

🚨 Special moment at the State House! 🏛️

🎄 The Recovery Team – Newton was invited to Rep. Jim O’Day’s Christmas party at the State House in Massachusetts.
