One of our favorite traditions is taking time each quarter to recognize the incredible people who make Bedford Care Centers so special. 💙

🎄🌺 Christmas in July… Luau Style! 🌺🎄

We were treated to a wonderful Christmas in July celebration thanks to Gentiva Hospice! Our residents enjoyed delicious fruit kabobs, refreshing frozen cocoa, and plenty of festive fun.

The highlight of the day? 🎅 Santa Claus made a special early visit so everyone could share their Christmas wishes before the holiday rush! We also enjoyed music, singing along to our favorite Christmas classics, and making sweet memories together.

A big thank you to Gentiva Hospice for bringing so much joy, laughter, and holiday spirit to our residents. Days like these make our hearts merry all year long! ❤️🎁

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate 250 years of freedom, courage, and the enduring spirit of our nation.

As we honor Independence Day, we are especially grateful for the residents who have lived through so much of our country's history. Their stories, sacrifices, resilience, and wisdom have helped shape the America we celebrate today. It is our privilege to care for and learn from those who have witnessed generations of change and progress.

From all of us at Bedford Care Centers, we wish our residents, families, team members, and communities a happy and safe Fourth of July. May your day be filled with laughter, cherished memories, and gratitude for the freedoms we share.

🚗🫧 Working at the Car Wash! ☀️💦

Our residents had an amazing time cooling off during our outdoor “Car Wash” activity! Staff transformed the patio into a fun-filled car wash, complete with sprinklers and a bubble machine, and gave everyone a refreshing ride through.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and splashes as we beat the summer heat together. What a fantastic day making memories with all of our friends! ❤️🌈

To our staff members who balance caring for others while being devoted dads at home, we appreciate your compassion, dedication, and the example you set both at work and with your families.

It's Brain Health Tip Tuesday!

🧠 It's Brain Health Tip Tuesday!

In recognition of Alzheimer's & Brain Health Awareness Month, we're sharing a brain health tip each Tuesday throughout June.

This week's tip: Move Your Body!

Regular physical activity improves blood flow to the brain, supports memory and thinking, and can reduce the risk of decline as we age.

💜 Aim for 30 minutes of movement most days of the week!

Small steps today can lead to a healthier brain tomorrow.

Western Day fun at Bedford Care Center of Newton ! 🌵✨

Our residents had a blast digging for “gold” in the sand during our western-themed activities! We used spray-painted rocks and little plastic jewels to create a fun gold mining experience that everyone enjoyed.

We also had some exciting western target shooting games that brought out lots of laughs, smiles, and friendly competition! 🎯🐴

It was another wonderful day full of fun, creativity, and western spirit here at Bedford!
