We are beyond excited to have Jessica O'Flannagan join our team! She is now seeing clients! See her bio below.
I’m Jessica O’Flannagan, LMSW, a Certified Grief Professional with a post-graduate certificate in play therapy. I provide genuine, down-to-earth support for children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, family stress, life transitions, and the messy in-between moments that can feel overwhelming.
My approach is play-based, integrative, and trauma-informed, rooted in connection, safety, and trust—with room for creativity, honesty, humor, and real-life perspective along the way. I believe healing begins when we stop pretending everything is okay and allow ourselves the space to process, grow, and feel truly seen.
I have a special passion for working with individuals and families connected to foster care, adoption, complex family dynamics, and transitions from intensive outpatient, inpatient, or residential levels of care. As someone currently under supervision for clinical licensure, Registered Play Therapist certification, and addictions counseling certification, while also pursuing advanced training in ADHD and trauma, I bring a wide range of knowledge and perspectives into my work.
Most importantly, I tailor therapy to each individual child and family, meeting clients where they are and partnering with them to help reach their goals. Above all, I strive to create a space where clients feel respected, supported, and accepted exactly as they are.
When I’m not in the therapy room, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and getting lost in a good book.
