Today was a blast!
Thank you everyone who has came out.
Special thank you Jasper County Police Department for blocking traffic and bringing a golf cart in case someone needed a ride.
Special thank you Transitions Hospice for partnering with us and providing the burgers and hot dogs.
Special thank you to Bryce for providing us music and entertainment.
Special thank you to Alexis for providing face painting.
Special thank you to Shelby for bringing the goats.
We hope everyone had a blast! Can’t wait for next year.

Prayers to all! 💙🧡

Yesterday we lost Dalton, who was well known for being many things. A friend, a classmate, a student, a family member. As deeply sorrowed as we are at the loss of Dalton, we must focus on praying for him. We must pray that his faith will bring him face to face with God and that he will get to walk the streets of heaven. In this time of disparity and grief we need to thank God for the chance to meet and know Dalton and for the time we were able to spend with him. We need to pray for his family, that they are filled with God’s peace and find closure. Psalm 4:8 “In peace I will lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Even in this time of sadness we need to remember that Dalton is in a better place now. One in which there is no more sadness or pain and where he will rest easy in the Lord. I recommend to pray this prayer to help Dalton on his journey to God’s embrace, “Lord Jesus, I pray for Dalton, that his faith bring him to your warm embrace. I pray that his sins be forgiven by the death and resurrection of you, O Lord. Lord forgive him for his transgressions and be the light that keeps him on the path to heaven. I pray for his family that they feel your love and peace. I thank you Lord for the time I was able to spend with him and that I will be able to spend more time with him while walking the golden streets of heaven. Amen.” My heart and the heart of the whole Newton FFA chapter goes out to Dalton, his family, and every heart that Dalton had touched.

The month of May we celebrated our speech therapist for National ST Day. We are so lucky to have these two ladies working with our residents on skills of language, cognition, eating, swallowing, and much more. Thanks Ladies! ❤️❤️
