🌱 Hello, Community! 🌱

You may know me as a professional counselor, but what you might not know is that aside from practicing psychotherapy and running DBT groups at The Greenhouse Therapy Center, I have also been a speaker, trainer, consultant, and executive leadership coach in the manufacturing sector.

I am passionate about bringing more education and support to workplaces regarding stress management, overcoming procrastination, and enhancing productivity through mental health skills building. I believe that by focusing on mental health, we can create healthier, more productive environments for everyone and better support our families at home.

If you or someone you know is interested in hosting a lunch and learn, workshop, or roundtable event (either in-person or online), I would love to connect! Let’s work together to promote well-being in our community, from Newton to Wichita and beyond.

Feel free to reach out, and let’s make mental health a priority in our workplaces.

I'm opening a few days on my schedule this summer for 1 and 2-day intensive therapy sessions and it's available for both individuals and couples.

This is a focused, structured deep dive built around your specific therapeutic goals. It is not designed for crisis management, and it is not covered by insurance. Payment plans are available.

Here's how it works:

1. We start with a 1-hour pre-session consultation call.

2. I develop a personalized treatment plan with a structured hour-by-hour schedule, including breaks for lunch, grounding, and reflection.

3. I send you tailored questionnaires and assessments to complete before we meet.

4. We meet for one or two days (roughly 10am–3pm), based on your individual needs and preferences.

5. Together, we create a 30-day plan to reinforce and support what we worked on.

6. We have a follow-up call one week later to check in.

If you feel you would benefit from this level of personalized therapeutic support and would like to learn more, call or text (316) 804-8103.

Slow down. Notice your breath. Hold a moment for yourself. Your mental health needs it and you deserve it. Mental health happens in therapy and outside of the counseling office. Can you take 30 seconds today and hold a moment to appreciate what’s around you. Notice what you see, what you hear, what you can touch. And just breathe.

Has someone gotten on your last nerve? Have you reacted without thinking ahead, only to feel awful about how you handled it?

Do you find yourself overthinking what happened, replaying the events, and beating yourself up for it?

You're not alone!

I often hear this pattern of thinking and feeling.

Another common experience is the shame or guilt that comes from reacting with anger, impulse, or fear. Sometimes, this can leave you feeling drained and cause you to shut down.

You may be struggling with emotional dysregulation. The good news is that this can be treated with DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), which is a highly effective skill-based counseling approach.

I'm offering a small group online DBT class starting this Monday, April 13th, at 10 AM.

This is not traditional group therapy—it's not an emotional or cognitive processing group. This space is designed for learning and applying new skills.

Interested? Insurance may cover it. Text or call 316-804-8103 for more information.
