When most people think of physical therapy, they picture recovering from an injury or surgery.
But one of the most overlooked areas of physical therapy is pelvic health.
For women, pelvic floor dysfunction can show up as leaking, pelvic pressure, painful intimacy, postpartum challenges, or chronic pelvic pain.
For men, it may appear as bladder issues, pelvic or groin pain, post-prostate recovery concerns, or sexual health challenges.
These symptoms are incredibly common—but they are not something you simply have to «deal with.»
Pelvic health physical therapy takes a whole-body approach, looking at how your pelvic floor, breathing, posture, core, and movement patterns work together.
You don’t need a visible injury to ask for help.
If something feels off, your body may be trying to tell you something.
