Being back to school can feel BIG! 💜

New routines, sounds, people, and expectations can take a lot of energy. If your child is seeking extra quiet, movement, comfort, familiar routines, or rest this weekend, they may simply be decompressing.

Remember: regulation comes before expectation. Give them the time and space they need to reset. 💛

Tomorrow, April 28th, at noon EST we will be hosting a free Zoom webinar to introduce Socio-Dramatic Affective Relational Intervention (SDARI): a relationship-based, drama-informed approach that supports social competence and confidence in autistic youth. SDARI uses improv games and group activities that build on participants' own interests and strengths, rather than teaching non-autistic social rules.
