Laura is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with a variety of mental health and behavioral issues. As an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, she is passionate in assisting individuals, parents and siblings of children on the Autism Spectrum on their journey toward independence, self-awareness, understanding and acceptance. She utilizes an eclectic approach implementing strategies from evidenced-based practices including Interoception, ABA strategies, mindfulness- based CBT, social skills, parenting support, play therapy, expressive arts therapy, client centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and strength based approaches to empower clients in meeting identified goals.
