A good-looking floor finish isn't just about the wax. It's about everything that happens before - and after - it.

Strip the old finish. Scrub it away. Repeat when necessary. Remove the residue. Let the floor dry. Then build your new finish coat by coat.

Even the solids percentage matters. With the 20% solids finish we're using, we target around five coats to build the desired finish. And instead of the traditional mop-and-bucket approach, we're using a flat microfiber applicator and charging bucket for better control and a more even application.

Then comes the part people forget: maintaining it.
