James definitely couldn’t help himself as the music started so did his dance moves! This afternoon we tried something a little different a sweet treat called Apple c***r float and I’ll admit it was pretty tasty and the residents definitely enjoyed it. Maddie and her handler Connie came in for a visit today and was instantly loved by everyone, she was so amazing with everyone.

This morning after breakfast a couple ladies needed their nails done, after that Dorothy and I enjoyed a stroll around the neighborhood looking at all the trees. Rachel and Conner made Reuben sandwiches with sweet potato puffs and green beans for lunch served with cherry pie for dessert. Fun afternoon playing with clay and bringing out the artist in everyone, so fun! Can’t wait till it all dries and we can paint.

This afternoon Rachel made chef salad as a birthday request from Barbara , after lunch Barbara’s daughter brought in a cake to share with everyone! Happy Birthday Barbara. After lunch Vanessa’s son brought his car over and John loved it, it’s a 1964 thunderbird. I started some fall decorating today, excited to see it all up!

Vanessa brought in a different kind of fruit for us to try call jackfruit, very interesting but very good! Rachel and Diane made an amazing beef stew for lunch this afternoon served with a warm buttered bun. This morning the ladies wanted to go outside and enjoy a cup of coffee with good company and good conversation, look how cozy they all looked!! Betsy wanted to do some art with me this morning so her and I spent some one on one with each other and did some painting. James and I also took a short walk outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Rachel and Diane made pork loin with mashed potatoes and green beans this afternoon with a delicious pumpkin bar with homemade frosting on top. Denise helped Mary with a project this afternoon as well, painting a turtle!

What a beautiful day to be outside, this morning we got our legs going with some morning kickball, afterwards Kay and I took a stroll down the trail looking to see if the leaves were starting to change and yes we saw some. For lunch Conner got on the grill and cooked up some brats and burgers and Rachel and Diane made roasted potatoes and cucumber salad, for dessert we had pineapple upside down cake 😋.

Betsy, Judy, Bill and I worked on some art this morning and as always turned out beautiful. Conner made fried chicken served with potato salad and corn this afternoon and to make the meal even better he served cherry pie with a scoop of ice cream. Renee and her friends came in after lunch to play the piano and have a sing-a-long.
