The ALIGNMENT is the first key.

Make your deepest alignment in this lifetime and align with God my friend. There is no deeper alignment. This is the alignment that takes you all the way Home.

This is the alignment that unlocks healing, reveals Truth, and guides you to the next step. Alignment is found in the Present.

What does God want to show you? Teach you? Cleanse from you? What does God want you to know? Feel? See?

It all starts with the DIVINE ALIGNMENT.

It was such a joy to gather this circle who has been so open to the many hands and feet of prayer!

Gathering in the early light, prayer first thing after waking, becoming ritual in community.

All of this reminds me how much we can support each other as we walk each other Home.

No matter what is arising, we can do these simple things to bring the Sacred into the everyday, bridging Heaven and Earth in our hearts, and aligning with what is most True.

The Old ways unforgotten. The Old ways remembered.

Women supporting women. Wombs meeting wombs.

Filaments of golden divinity weaving us Whole.

Love breathes Here.

A new circle is forming.

ON BECOMING WISE

When I was 8 years old, I had a distinct desire to become wise. I am sure that desire-hope came from my soul and even deeper in my being.

To become wise has lived inside me, alchemically stirring the pot, often pointing me away from modern traditional paths of climbing ladders of power, status and prestige, and inviting me into off the beaten path adventures and challenges.

Michael Meade refers to losing our naivete as a critical component of attaining wisdom.

My personal loss of naivete was so all-encompassing and dismembering that I am happy I survived it.

At one point, it felt like almost every sacred thing was ripped from me. I had to learn to sit with what was left, both external and internal, and see the wisdom in it -- to see God in it.

We have entered a time of collective darkness.

It hardly matters what your political views are when archetypal collective darkness comes, and the fabric of society is torn, ripped apart.

It is time to practice what centers you, what connects you to something deeper and truer. We must go to the Source, the Godhead.

Here lies the safety and support to go through the Great Undoing, the Great Enfolding.

As we all transform, we will be invited to bring our gifts and wisdom back together again.

For now, see if you can find what is fruitful in the Darkness.

What remains when things fall apart. What has always been there and always will be?

What can you forgive and let go of? How can you love even more deeply? Can you become the mercy of these times?

FIRES THAT BURN

These times are heating up. Getting fierce. If your center is not True, it will not hold.

What have you learned from Heartbreak, Dismemberment, Pain, Chaos, and Death?

Believe or not, we were built for these times. Our ancestors walked these paths before us. This is the time to turn to what we know as Eternal, the light that is eternal and guides us in the Darkness.

We are each being given a choice -- to chose what is false or to choose what has always been true.

As the Divine Light moved down through the veils, the light split into 99 facets of Divine Light which Sufis call the Divine Qualities ...

Mercy
Holiness
Love
Generosity
Gratitude
Peace
Truth

And so on ...

We open to the Divine within by opening to these qualities and embodying them.

This is one way we are bringing Heaven to Earth.

As there are fires of destruction, there is the heat and fire of the Divine Light which burns through all falsehood.

It will burn through all that is false within us.

Be the embodiment of the Divine Light -- Be the Qualities. Those are Truth.

If you need support, please reach out. This is the time to deepen in community and connection. God answers ALL prayers. Know that.

Now is a time to be on our knees.

Where do you find GOD?

As my Sufi murshid Salima Adelstein shares, we find God in the present -- not the past -- not the future, only in the present.

So what a beautiful opportunity we have to drop into the present moment and meet God!

In our Sufi lineage, we understand God to be veiled, hidden from those who still need purification to come in closer contact with the original Creator.

As we deepen in our practice and purify, veils lift and we taste the Divine that reveals itself.

Patience is a constant friend in our deepening and spiritual awakening.

Returning to the present moment and opening to Divine alignment is the beginning -- the foundational practice.

PART 3. RECEIVING THE LIGHT

(This is a multi-part series)

Once the stage is set so to speak, it is possible to move into Divine connection ~ giving and receiving simultaneously as the same experience.

Each person participates in their own way.

The Divine speaks to each person uniquely, walking them along their path perfectly.

Expression is key.

Letting yourself deeply feel, letting the emotions flow, opening to receive ... allowing yourself to be cracked further and shedding what is no longer needed.

In the beginning this can feel like nothing. Nothing seems to be happening.

As you give yourself over more to the process, more is felt.

I am reminded of how important protection is in ceremonial space.

The Divine LIGHT itself is protective. And, it will cleanse and remove attachments, negative/dark beings/energies and so on. Specific intention needs to be held of this purpose.

Without protection, the ceremonial space opens to all frequencies, which can cause problems for the participants.

The last post of this series will cover CLOSING.
