Welcome to Mosaic, Elijah!!
We’re excited to welcome Elijah Hubbard, BS, to Mosaic Counseling Services as an MSW Graduate Counseling Intern!
Eli believes therapy should be a place where people feel safe, heard, understood, and accepted. His approach is grounded in the belief that therapy isn’t simply about changing what feels difficult—it’s also about becoming curious about ourselves, understanding why certain patterns developed, recognizing our strengths, and discovering new ways of moving forward.
Eli’s clinical interests include trauma, anxiety, depression, self-worth, emotional regulation, life transitions, and relationship concerns. He approaches his work from a holistic, trauma-informed perspective that recognizes the connection between our minds, bodies, emotions, experiences, and relationships.
A perspective that especially aligns with our work at Mosaic is Eli’s belief that many of the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors we struggle with may have developed for a reason—sometimes as ways of protecting or helping us navigate difficult experiences. Rather than approaching those parts of ourselves with judgment, Eli encourages curiosity and compassion.
He is continuing to develop his training in trauma-informed and integrative approaches, with particular interest in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR, while also drawing from cognitive, mindfulness-based, strengths-focused, and other evidence-informed approaches.
Outside of the therapy room, Eli enjoys fitness, spending time outdoors, exploring holistic wellness, and spending time with the people and animals he loves.
We’re grateful to have Eli joining our team and excited for our community to get to know him.
Please join us in welcoming Eli to Mosaic!
