A heat wave is headed our way and we want you to stay cool 😎

Swing by Nooksack Animal Hospital to pick up a free styrofoam cooler and ice packs. Just stop by during business hours and pick one up on us (while supplies last).

And while we have your attention - A few quick hot weather safety tips to keep your furry ones safe:

⚠️ Never leave pets in a parked car, even for a few minutes.

⚠️ Avoid walks during the hottest part of the day; stick to early mornings and late evenings.

⚠️ Provide plenty of fresh, cool water and shade at all times.

⚠️ Watch for signs of heat stress: excessive panting, bright red or pale gums, drooling, vomiting, or weakness.

If you’re worried your pet may be overheating, seek emergency care right away!

Ear cleanings aren’t just a spa day (though Rosie doesn’t know that) - they’re an important part of keeping your dog comfortable and infection-free.

Nooksack Animal Hospital will be closed on Monday in honor of Memorial Day and to remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. Thank you to all veterans, service members, and their families for your sacrifice. We will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday.
