Many owners stack products with the best intentions, but stacking can quietly work against the program if timing and overlap are not considered.
Because here is the part nobody talks about enough: not everything plays nice in the same feed pan.
High iron feeds, fortified mixes, or iron-heavy water can interfere with the balance and absorption of key trace minerals like copper, zinc, and manganese. Clay-based products and charcoal are binders by design, which means they can bind more than just the “bad stuff.” They may also reduce the availability of nutrients you actually paid good money to feed.
Ulcer medications and gut-focused products can also affect the digestive environment, depending on what is being used and why. That does not mean they are bad. It means they need to be used with intention, especially if your horse is also on a targeted support formula like NutriSana EQ.
Best practice: keep NutriSana EQ as the foundation and separate binders, clays, charcoal, heavy mineral add-ons, and certain gut or ulcer-support products by time when possible.

Typical timelines:
💜 3–4 weeks: Brighter coat, healthier manure, more consistent energy and attitude
🩵 60–90 days: Deeper changes in hoof quality, joint comfort, tissue resilience, and overall recovery
🩶 For horses with chronic soundness issues or heavy performance demands, some owners choose to feed a Recommended dosing twice per day for enhanced support, especially during high-stress or high-load periods.
