Across Georgia, more than 1.2 million people live without health insurance. For them, getting sick can mean choosing between care and groceries—or going without care entirely. Through its member clinics, the Georgia Charitable Care Network provides healthcare with compassion, dignity, and impact. Our clinics provide care for uninsured patients at an average cost of less than $10 per patient encounter, just 8% of the cost of an average Medicaid visit.

At Good Samaritan Gwinnett, we’re grateful to get to serve.

To serve the patient sitting in the exam room.
The person sitting in the dental chair for the first time.
The neighbor walking through our doors looking for care.
The person on the other end of the phone who just needs someone to help them figure out what comes next.

These are just some of the moments behind the work we do every day.

And it takes everyone at Good Samaritan Gwinnett— people with different roles and different talents, all showing up for the same reason: to serve.

That’s the work, and the mission, we’re celebrating this .

FRIYAY! 🙌 We got to close out the week with our friends at Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries at their Health & Wellness Fair!

One of our favorite moments? A woman stopped by our table and remembered us from a health fair at a nearby school. She told us that because of that first conversation, she was able to get her husband scheduled for an appointment at Good Samaritan Health Centers of Gwinnett, and now here we were crossing paths again!

We love moments like this. Every time we’re out in the community, it’s another chance to make sure someone knows where they can turn when they need access to care.

And shoutout to some of the other great partners we got to see today, including Gwinnett Coalition, Building Babies' Brains Gwinnett, and UGA Extension’s Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program!
