Three weeks ago, we opened the doors to our first full-time office.
We prayed God would use it.
Over the last three weeks, Defenders of Resilience has served:
• 15 military-connected individuals
• 10 military households
• 8 Active Duty service members
• 6 military spouses
• 1 veteran
• 4+ military children impacted through family support
• 5+ high-acuity crisis households
• 60+ documented direct service hours (and counting)
We’ve provided crisis support, hospital support, resource navigation, financial assistance, transportation assistance, peer support, Coffee Cup Counseling, and community connection opportunities.
Behind every number is a person.
A late-night phone call.
A family carrying more than they can handle alone.
A military member trying to figure out what’s next.
A spouse who just needed someone to sit with them.
A child impacted by the challenges their family is facing.
The office isn’t just a workspace.
It’s becoming a place where military members and families know they have somewhere to turn when life falls apart—and somewhere to belong when it doesn’t.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for, supported, and believed in this mission. We’re just getting started.
