Kimber was Diagnosed on March 27, 2017 . Her Tumor was Removed on July 11, 2017. She was declared cancer free in 2018 . Kimber has relapsed in 2021 In multiple areas .

This weekend we went to Camp MAGIC to celebrate Kimber and connect with other families with similar stories . Friday and Saturday were incredible , but Sunday morning around 4 am Vada woke up suddenly with the dreaded bark cough and I just knew we were going to the hospital .

Being at a camp hosted by a hospice company comes in handy when your child cannot move air. So we quickly connected with nurse Taresa and the staff and got her an ambulance as quickly as we could .

Vada and dad got a ride to CHKD in the ambulance while I (mom )gathered our belongings .

I got to the hospital right after they arrived and she got her breathing treatment .

It’s protocol to be observed for awhile after the epi treatment so we were there till about ten.

Vada boo is feeling much better thank goodness !

We’re all home and trying to rest off that crazy night .

Thank you Casey Cares for suppoting out family for the past 9 years!

Kimber was diagnosed in March of 2017 and Casey Cares has been with our family ever since.

Because of casey cares our family has had the oppertunity to experience so many special memories . From pajamas , to movie nights , from Disney on ice to dinosaur quest . We even got to go to the  Baltimore aquarium when we were living in DC two years ago .

Even after Kimbers passing Casey Cares has continued supporting our family! This past Thursday we had the opportunity to see Disney on ice ! We had a good time as a family , but I would be lying if I did not say that dad and I shed alot of tears .

Kimber LOVED Disney on ice and it felt like they preformed so many songs that she enjoyed particularly so it was bitter sweet . It felt like in a way she was speaking to through the musical performance while simultaneously missing her so dearly. In contrast watching Vada light up and Dance and be carefree was so good and that is priceless .

Reflecting over the past 9 years we just wanted to say THANK YOU to Casey Cares for everything from the bottom of our hearts thank you.
