Day 1 Question: True or False? The giant magnet inside an MRI machine is only turned on when the machine is actively taking pictures?
Day 1 Answer: FALSE! The primary magnet is always on - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Even when the machine is completely silent and the room is empty. Anything magnetic brought into the room at any time can instantly become a dangerous projectile.

Today we had the opportunity to connect with so many great people at the McLean County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Twin Cities Showcase at CEFCU Arena!
Being part of events like this is important to us because meeting face-to-face with our community helps patients better understand that they are in the driver’s seat when it comes to their imaging needs.
