UPDATE 10/23/26: Beginning Monday, Oct. 26, appointments scheduled for Carle Normal on College will be temporarily relocated to Carle BroMenn Outpatient Center, Suite 2D, 3024 E. Empire St. in Bloomington. Please report to the Outpatient Center for your appointment.

Carle Normal on College will be temporarily closed until further notice due to recent damage sustained to the building. Patients with upcoming appointments at this location will be contacted for rescheduling in a different location with their physician. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Happy 10th Birthday to our Neonatology program! 🎉🎉🎉At 7 a.m. on Oct. 18, 2016, we began 24/7 neonatology coverage to better serve our smallest patients and their families. Since that day, hundreds of little ones have been able to stay in their home community, close to mom, for their care.

The experienced staff in our Level II Nursery cares for infants 32 weeks gestation and older. Learn more about about delivering at Carle BroMenn at carle.org.

Team members offered a workshop on Power of Attorney for Healthcare and staffed this information booth on inclusive healthcare at the recent Transgender Resource Fair in Bloomington. Staff from Spiritual Care, Cardiovascular Care and Learning and Development were volunteers for the event. Making sure patients and their loved ones have a clear care plan to support their individual health needs is part of being a trusted partner.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Talk with your doctor about your risk factors. If you are age 40 or older with an average risk, it is time to start having annual mammograms.

A beautiful sculptural table, representing the strong roots that hold up a tree, is one of several gifts blessed at a recent ceremony in the Carle BroMenn Chapel, where the table can be found.

This was one of several gifts from the Mennonite Church of Normal, a Faith Community Partner which, along with dozens of other faith organizations, supports the mission of Carle Health. Thank you to the talented artist for bringing our heritage to life.
