Servant's Heart Midwifery Services Servant’s Heart Midwifery Services provides prenatal visits, home birth and postpartum care to women

The mission of Servant’s Heart Midwifery Services is to provide evidence based, respectful, compassionate, family-centered maternity care to women with low-risk pregnancies, where labor, birth and recovery take place in the comfort and security of the woman’s home where institutional restrictions do not apply. Servant’s Heart Midwifery Services exists to accomplish this through bringing the art an

d science of midwifery together to support physiologic labor and birth and to enhance and not usurp the family’s unity. Servant’s Heart Midwife strongly believes that a positive birth experience not only can be a conduit for personal growth and empowerment, but helps women to positively embrace and enter the role of motherhood feeling confident and strong, rather than stripped of their power as so often happens in modern birthing institutions. Servant’s Heart Midwife desires this personal empowerment and sense of achievement for each of my clients, knowing that the process of giving birth will become a strong reference point in a woman’s life, giving her an inner strength to face life’s future challenges. If deviations from normal should arise during the pregnancy, birth or postpartum, which are outside of the CNM’s scope of practice, Servant’s Heart Midwife works in partnership with other members of the health care team to provide collaboration, or a seamless referral and transfer of care.

Happy Mother’s Day -
To all my clients and mama’s in my life Thank you for trusting me to be your midwife! 💗

I feel like Mother’s Day is hard to post about - it’s something to be celebrated - being a mom has been the greatest gift and now being a grandma is a whole new level of amazing!

I do want to recognize that this can also be a grievous day for some - whether you’ve lost your own mom, you have babies or children in heaven, or you’ve wanted to become a mom so badly and it hasn’t happened for you yet - I pray God’s healing and comfort for you today.

Regardless of your motherhood journey - you are loved, important, and cherished. May the Lord bless you all 💕

Thought everyone would like to meet Valor, my new midwife apprentice. Emily will be done at the end of this year, so I thought I better start early training a new one. She tuckered out pretty fast though, so not sure if the “midwife life” will be for her! 😂

Just here fangirling over this interview with my two favorite medical freedom hero’s, Del Bigtree and Dr. Stuart Fischbein. In this Highwire episode, Dr. Stu discusses some very important topics with Del including inductions, the ever rising C-section rate, and his personal transformation from viewing birth from the lens of allopathic medicine to a natural process that unfolds beautifully most of the time if left undisturbed.

I was fortunate enough to host Dr. Stu this past September when he came to teach his knowledge and skills on breech birth. He is helping to shed light on and transform this dysfunctional birth culture through his published research papers, his podcast “Birthing Instincts”, and traveling across this country and the world teaching the lost art and skill of delivering breech babies at home.

If you like this clip of The Highwire, you can find the link to the full episode in the comments. I have been watching Del Bigtree on The Highwire faithfully since the beginning of 2020 and cannot recommend it enough!
A new episode comes out every Thursday with investigative deep dives into important health impacting news as well as a legal action component of which I am proud to be a part of.

Under The Sun podcast and I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Stuart Fischbein for traveling to Normal, Illinois to lead his Reteach Breech Workshop this past week . His expertise, passion, and dedication to educating birth professionals on breech birth skills made a lasting impact on everyone in attendance. These skills are crucial for preventing unnecessary cesarean sections and saving babies lives.

I am also profoundly thankful for Dr. Stu’s unwavering commitment to medical freedom and true informed choice in all matters of health care. His voice continues to inspire practitioners and families alike to advocate for respectful, individualized care. Listening to his “Birthing Instincts” podcast has been a voice of sanity and reason in a time when informed choice and medical freedom has been overshadowed by most healthcare institutions rigid protocols and policies - Dr. Stu reminds us of what true informed choice and family centered care should look like.

Thank you, Dr. Stu, for sharing your time, wisdom, and heart with our community!

Stay tuned in the near future for the Under The Sun podcast’s interview with Dr. Stu on Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, or wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts 🙂
