Everyone was ready to cheer on the Oklahoma Sooners at Rivermont! 🏈❤️

And what a game it was - the Sooners came out on top!

Everyone had a great time at the cookout, dancing to country music, enjoying flavorful food on the grill and having lots of fun including several “Boomer Sooner” chants!

Congratulations to Housekeeper, Zenon P., or as his friends at Rivermont like to call him, “Z”, for being nominated as the August Legend of Honor! 🌟

Zenon has been part of the Rivermont team since January of 2026, and is ready and willing to assist wherever needed.

When asked what he enjoys most about his position he responds, “I like to see the residents smile. They really appreciate when we are able to help.”

Residents enjoyed virtual travels along Route 66 during the month of July.

Everyone had a great time reminiscing about trips taken along the route and discussing fun facts.

To everyone’s surprise, when Route 66 first opened in 1926, only about 800 miles were paved leaving a little over 1600 miles of dirt and gravel road.

It took 12 years to complete the entire highway in 1938!
