Get quiet to get the message….started this morning with a hot cup of tea, and sitting outside with my eyes closed . Accompanied only by my dog and the beautiful chirps and songs of birds. Sitting there a vivid memory of 9 year old me came to my mind. I immediately remembered living in Perry, OK, being the first to wake, heading outside with a book and in this most colorful robe to read and listen to the birds in the morning in the stillness of the world. Starting the day this way has been a part of me for so long. How do you start your day?

I had an amazing experience at Ukiyo Wellness, LLC. I received a 90-minute relaxing Swedish massage with Reiki energy work, along with tuning forks and sound bowls, and it was exactly what I didn’t know I needed.

Jennifer Rogers was incredibly communicative throughout the entire session and made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. I’ve never had Reiki done before, but it truly opened my eyes to some things I’ve been struggling with internally.

I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and more grounded. I will absolutely be a returning client—mental health and self-care matter, and this was such a powerful reminder of that.
