We recognize that deciding on the best course of action for your child is stressful and overwhelming. There are many interventions and treatments to choose from, and you can’t afford to waste time. At the Family Hope Center, our goal is to partner with and support you in nurturing your child to reach their full potential. We do this by teaching and guiding you to develop customized, effective, and integrative home-based plans your child.

What an incredible privilege & delight it is to receive testimonials like this from Erin Parry Smith:

I came here to help my one child who is struggling significantly. I never imagined the impact it would have in helping all my other children get to the next level even though they'd be considered "normal". My other child has gone from 64% function in his emotional development to 89% in 10 months. Doctors probably would have put him on medication and gave him an anxiety ADHD diagnosis. I prefer to just organize his brain. My parents are doing the therapy as well to help keep their brains sharp in their golden years. So grateful for what I've learned here! It's with every penny to see your children bring able to function better and helps our family work better together. I love that they focus on where the brain is at and how to grow from there, instead of coping strategies for dealing with the loss of where they should be. I feel at peace and empowered having an exact plan I can execute at home and knowing it's making a difference.

If you’re the parent of a special needs child, please read this book. You will find an empowering and refreshing way of viewing your child’s condition.

The information presented here will help you to understand what is happening, to get to the root cause of the problem and give you a roadmap for helping your child to heal. Recent studies are showing that our brains have much greater ability to heal than is generally appreciated. In this book you will find a scientific, practical, and well researched method for assisting that healing process. During the years I consulted with families at FHC [Family Hope Center], I saw hundreds of children who surprised me with the progress they made on this program, well beyond anything I’d seen or been taught to expect in my pediatric training. If I were a child with a brain injury, I would be hoping that my parents would find this book and follow its recommendations.

Congratulations, Tristan, on your 10th visit!
We hope you had a fantastic day, Tristan! 👏 It's wonderful to see how well you are doing!

When we first met at age 6, Tristan hadn't started reading. Following two-step instructions, focusing, and understanding yesterday/today/tomorrow were all difficult. He was sensitive to touch, kept his distance, had disorganized coordination, struggled with sentences, found drawing hard, and had trouble regulating himself and connecting with others.

Today, Tristan is making incredible progress! 👏
He's learning to read words and can now follow four-step instructions! 🎯 He enjoys playing games more with his sister and others. He sits attentively for TV shows and stories read by his Mom. His balance and coordination have improved greatly—he can run, hop, and join activities like other kids his age! 🎯 He's more willing to interact, tells longer and more organized stories, and has even learned some English! 🎯 He's taken up drawing 🎨 and started writing words. He's less nervous, more open with people, handles social situations better, and has begun problem-solving for himself and his family! 🎯

2026 Update: Tristan is still doing absolutely fantastic! 🎯
He's starting to read 1st-grade level books! 🎯 He follows instructions well, works on 1st-grade facts, and can sit through a chapter book for a 5-year-old, answering questions, building vocabulary, and identifying main ideas. He's making great strides with sequence and conclusions. Explaining things to him is easier now, and he understands everything. Emotionally, he continues to do wonderfully and is regulating himself better! 🎯

All in all, well done, Tristan! You've come such a long way, and it's fantastic to see you back at the Family Hope Center! We can't wait to hear more good news from you soon! 🎯
