The Carnival came to town - and it was right in our backyard!

We had the absolute best time hosting a Spectacular Summer Carnival for our wonderful resident here at North Adams Commons!

The back parking lot was packed with smiles, laughter, and so many sweet treats. Residents enjoyed freshly spun cotton candy, popcorn, lemonade and refreshing snow cones to beat the summer heat.

Our management team set up a classic carnival game zone with a prize table packed with goodies and a dunk tank, but the highlight of the day was a magical performance by our guest magician that left everyone guessing!

It was a day full of pure joy, nostalgia, and community. We love creating these special moments for our residents, and seeing their faces light up makes it all worth it.

Growing Joy at North Adams Commons 🌱

Our brand-new Garden Club has been a massive hit since kicking off in May!
Our wonderful residents gather every Thursday to flex their green thumbs. While they started planting beautiful flowers, the group recently voted to shift their focus to vegetables - and the results have been incredible!

They stated their vegetable journey with a variety of beans. Each resident picked out their own specific bean of choice to nurture. They started by growing the seedlings in plastic bags, and once they took off, the residents transplanted them into larger planters. The hard work has officially paid off! We just sprouted our very first bean, and the excitement around the facility is contagious. This Club brings so much joy, smiles and full hearts to everyone involved.

We started a wonderful new tradition at North Adams Commons! Every third Friday, our residents can invite their family or a staff member to join them for a special dinner.
This past Friday, we enjoyed an incredible Chinese food night! A huge thank you to our Dietary Director, "DEE", for preparing an amazing menu of Orange Chicken, Fried Rice, Egg Rolls and a delicious strawberry cheesecake for dessert.

Everyone had a fantastic time sharing laughs, making memories, and offering great suggestions for our next family dinner night.

A big shout-out to our Activities Director who planned such a lovely event and to the incredible staff at NAC who were there to help out and make the evening so successful! Thank you to everyone who came!

Celebrating milestones and community at North Adams Commons.

At North Adams Commons, our staff and residents truly become family. Recently, one of our dedicated team members graduated from High School. While her grandfather, who is a resident in our care, was unable to attend the official commencement ceremony, our resident and staff ensured he didn't miss out on this milestone. Our resident and staff rallied together to a host a graduation party at the facility so he could take part. It was a beautiful reminder of the deep, meaningful connections that define our core values.

🎲❤️ We celebrated Father's Day in winning style with a fun-filled Casino Night at North Adams Commons!

Residents and their loved ones enjoyed great food, wonderful company, and plenty of laughs as they tried their luck at our casino-themed games. It was a memorable day honoring all the amazing fathers and father figures who mean so much to our community. 💙

🐝 BEE Kind Day was buzzing with fun at North Adams Commons! 💛

Residents and staff celebrated with arts and crafts, trivia, a bee hunt, photo booth fun, and even a special visit from the Queen Bee herself! 🐝👑

We topped off the day with a sweet luncheon featuring Honey BBQ chicken, honey cornbread, and bumblebee cupcakes. It was the perfect way to celebrate kindness, community, and the wonderful people who make North Adams Commons such a special place.
