Getting dressed seems simple, but for little hands, it can be a BIG challenge!
Buttons, zippers, socks, and shoes all require important developmental skills that children are still learning.
From coordinating both hands to planning movements and adjusting to different clothing textures, there's a lot happening behind the scenes!
If your child struggles with getting dressed, they may need a little extra support developing these skills.
At Kioko Center, our pediatric occupational therapists help children build coordination, motor skills, and independence through individualized, engaging therapy.
Because even the smallest everyday accomplishments can be big milestones!
What part of getting dressed does your child find the most challenging?
