Getting your flu shot at the right time helps make sure you're protected when flu activity peaks. The CDC generally recommends September–October as a good window for most people — though guidance can vary based on age, health history, and other factors.

A couple of things worth asking your pharmacist about:
👶 Young children getting their first flu vaccine may need more than one dose.
🤰 Pregnant women are encouraged to get vaccinated — timing can matter for both mom and baby.
