We’re excited to introduce you to Rylan, our newest office friend! 🐶

Some of you may have already met him at Peak, and he’s already made quite the impression.

Just a few weeks ago, Dr. Hansen and Adam were not planning on bringing a puppy into their family. But a connection to her patient Leo (“Leo Strong”), who passed away from cancer, along with an incredible foundation, Lilly Lights the Way, that supports families going through similar experiences, made this an easy and meaningful decision.

📣 A quick update for Peak families

As Peak has grown, we’ve taken some time to review how we run the practice to make sure our policies remain fair and consistent for everyone.

We shared an update today that beginning April 6, we will begin applying our existing office policies to all families.

⚠️ Just to be clear, we are not introducing new policies or fees, simply applying the guidelines already in place.

❄️ Office Closed Monday, 2/23

After closely monitoring the updated forecast, which is calling for high winds and heavy snow throughout the day, we have made the decision to close on Monday for the safety of our staff and patients.

📅 Monday Appointments
If you had an appointment scheduled for Monday, you should have received a call notifying you of the closure. Our team will reach back out next week to reschedule once we have opened additional appointment slots to accommodate those affected.

🏥 If Your Child Needs to Be Seen
If your child needs care on Monday, please contact your nearest urgent care to confirm they are open and able to see patients.

❄️ Today’s Office Update

Dr. Hansen will be in the office today starting at 12 PM for limited sick visits only. Due to staffing and weather conditions, we cannot guarantee availability through the end of the day.

If you are requesting a sick appointment, please call the office to leave a message or send a Spruce message this morning. Availability will be limited.

If you had an appointment scheduled for today, we are currently in the process of calling to reschedule.

❄️ Weather Update for Monday

Due to the incoming snowstorm, our office will have a delayed opening at 12 PM on Monday to allow our staff time to travel safely.

We anticipate limited staffing throughout the day. One of our team members will begin monitoring calls around 9 AM, and we will be able to accommodate a limited number of sick visits in the morning as staffing allows.

We kindly ask for your patience as many of our staff do not live close to the office. All calls and messages will be returned once additional staff arrive and the office is fully open.
