We are very excited to be adding two new Nurse Practitioners to our evening and weekend crew this July! This will allow us to start offering checkups again in the evenings and weekends since we will have two providers here most evenings and weekends that our after hours clinic is open. NP Laquindra Thornton is the first we will introduce, and we are so very fortunate to have her join our work family! Here is a little about her:
"Laquindra is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her healthcare journey after graduating from Greenbrier High School, where she earned her Nurse's Aid Certification. While working as a CNA, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of South Carolina Aiken in 2015. Laquindra later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts in 2022. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending quality time with her children, Braxton and Christina. She also enjoys traveling and attending sporting events."
