We are truly honored to accept the Distinguished Alumni Award.

Endless gratitude to the Brenau University DPT program for shaping us and helping us become who we are today. It meant so much to reconnect with former professors and role models who played such a big role in our journey.

We also loved getting to show Luca Gainesville, GA where Susannah and I met.

A special night full of appreciation, reflection, and inspiration.

⭐️ Meet Lisa McGuire, Patient Care Specialist ⭐️

“Lisa was born in Guam and moved to the United States as a young child. Lisa is a woman with a passion for helping. Her experience with working in nursing homes and first hand with caring for her mother when she was diagnosed with cancer, have led her to have empathy and a love for caring about others.

Lisa is determined to display an honest and helpful work ethic to determine and meet the needs of each individual. Whether that’s by scheduling appointments, taking calls, warm welcomes and much more, she hopes that everyone she interacts with leaves with a positive experience.

During her free time Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and family. You can also find her spending time reading with her bearded dragon. She finds ways to stay active and healthy with evening walks and nutritious dinners. Additionally Lisa attends church to strengthen her faith and always seeks to encourage and aid others.”

Return to running is earned through objective testing.
Before clearing anyone after knee surgery, we run a full battery:
✔️ Knee ROM
✔️ Knee/Hip Strength assessment (dynamometer + limb symmetry)
✔️ Quad-to-hamstring strength ratio
✔️ Eccentric quad control (deceleration)
✔️ Quad endurance/stamina
✔️ Single-leg mechanics
✔️ Proprioception
✔️ Psychological readiness
✔️ Walking gait symmetry
✔️ Swelling + pain response
Ellie has put in so much work in the last couple months and the numbers back it up.
This is her first run after ACL Reconstruction.
