You don’t have to be sorry for not being who people expected you to be.
I was in my mid 30s and quit my job. My father told me I was making a mistake. That I was set for life. I shouldn’t do it.
At that point in time I hated who I’d become to stay in the job. That didn’t matter to my family. They liked the role I played.
I left. And never looked back.
I explored other career paths. Eventually making my way through life in what’s now known as Alternate Healthcare. I was successful. Helping thousands throughout a 33+ year career.
Did time on the speaker circuit, wrote courses and manuals so I could teach others. Published articles and contributed to books.
Studied and earned diplomas and degrees.
And loved every moment.
I’m 69 and have just published a new website. The spiritual aspect of healthcare has become my passion. My newest offering Consciously Create Compassion bringing all my years study, teaching and healing together.
I live with my two rescue kitties in an apartment in Portugal with a view of the ocean. I’ve loved and lost loved ones who have emigrated to heaven.
I’m not in the least bit sorry I disappointed my dad by not becoming what he dreamed for me.
So Dearheart, I encourage you to stop looking for approval and validation outside. Go in. Listen to your heart. Follow its nudges. Don’t wait for the destination to appear.
If you don’t like your life then change it. If you don’t like who you are, change.
You’re braver than you may think.
Big love 💕
