Join us as we explore the many transitions life brings—both the challenges and the opportunities for growth. This supportive gathering offers space for grief support, education, and meaningful connection with others who have experienced losses of various kinds, including the death of a loved one, shifts in independence and residence, changes in relationships, and other significant life changes.

Led by Ecumen Hospice staff, our time together provides a compassionate environment to share stories, learn new insights, and walk alongside one another as we navigate grief and discover new beginnings. We spent yesterday afternoon living our best flamingo life! 🦩 Residents enjoyed flamingo trivia, fruit kabobs, tropical cocktails, and a spirited round of Pin the Beak on the Flamingo. There were plenty of laughs, especially when some brave residents climbed aboard our huge flamingo floatie! What a flamingo-tastic day! ☺️🦩🍓🍷🍹

With wonder and anticipation, residents watched monarch caterpillars weave their quiet magic, emerging from their chrysalises as vibrant butterflies before fluttering freely into the summer air.

Did you know July is Wheel chair & Walker beautification month? We hosted a 'car wash' & scrubbed everyone wheelchairs! Of coarse we had to include ice cream treats, bubble machine & staffs, new Puppy, Skye even came to help!

We had our second Young at Heart Club for the summer & it was a success! Staff bring in their children to meet residents, enjoy a treat & visit with residents. This month we did reading! Children read to the residents, & a few residents read to the kids! Smiles were contagious! Such a great way to connect generations.

Residents had a good time meeting staffs' kids who came in for our Young at Heart Club! Kids & residents had fun making some 4th of July crafts & enjoy some ice cream while connecting generations.

We had a dog gone good time last week at our Dog party! Residents & Staff bring their dogs in to play & visit! We had Moose, Woody, Mollie, Murphy, Lucy, Barron & 2 Duncans! Both Doodles!
