A Special Prayer Request

As we prepare for our upcoming Fall Banquet, we would be grateful for your prayers.

Please pray that God will bless the planning and preparation and use this evening to strengthen the work of Options for Women, Men and Families and ultimately bless the families we serve.

We also ask for spiritual protection over our staff and board members as they work together in the weeks ahead. Pray for wisdom, unity, strength, encouragement, and peace—and that distractions or discouragement would not take our focus away from the mission God has placed before us.

Above all, please pray that this banquet would honor God, touch hearts, build relationships, and provide the support needed to continue serving women, men, children, and families in our community.

Thank you for covering our center, our team, and this special event in prayer. 💜

A great opportunity for caregivers of young children! Check out Lakes and Lakes & Pines Community Action Council, Inc.

A children’s book + simple activities delivered each month — FREE. 📚

Do you regularly care for a young child who isn’t your own? Maybe you’re a grandparent, relative, friend, or neighbor helping care for a child while their parent works or goes to school.

Through Minnesota’s Family, Friend and Neighbor program, eligible caregivers of children ages 0–5 can receive FREE monthly learning kits with:

A children’s book
Simple activities to do together
Ideas that support learning through everyday play
Helpful caregiver resources

No special supplies. No lesson plans. Just easy ways to read, talk, sing, play, and learn together.

FFN support is available in Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Pine, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Isanti, and Chisago Counties.
