Another great event is in the books: the 9th Annual Emergency Services Behavioral Health Summit was a success. We thank our 6 great speakers, who gave personal and professional presentations, and over 24 vendors who joined us. Attendees were able to enjoy a fantastic lunch, offered an ice cream treat thanks to Servicemaster, had a chance at raffle prizes by Boss Disaster Restoration Inc, and could paint a handprint on LEAP (Lowcountry Equine Assisted Psychotherapy)'s horse. Gerald was even pulled over on a mobility scooter we were testing...for speeding. Be watching for a second post with photos of our vendors.

Hard to believe it’s already been two weekends since we attended the Charleston Memorial Stair Climb. It’s truly an honor to be one of the key recipients of the fundraising from the climb and the other efforts surrounding it. It was a powerful event, paying tribute to those lost on 9/11 and in the aftermath, as well as our Charleston 9. “Big John” made an appearance as a reminder to "fight for healthy air". We are proud of our team members who completed the climb, and equally proud of those who supported by taking photos, handing out water, or simply being present for such a meaningful day. Thank you and Happy Independence Day!
