Injuries don't wait for a convenient time.

That's why Lowcountry Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine offers Ortho After Hours, a walk-in clinic for urgent orthopedic care outside of normal business hours. No appointment or referral needed.

Located at the North Charleston center, Ortho After Hours is open Monday through Thursday from 5 to 7pm and Saturdays from 8am to 12pm. Patients are seen directly by orthopedic providers for fractures, dislocations, sprains, and fracture care, with on-site X-ray and casting available.

For active families and weekend athletes, it's a faster, more direct path to care than urgent care or the ER for orthopedic injuries.

Please welcome Lamar Hood, PA-C to the Lowcountry Orthopaedics spine team!

Lamar works alongside Dr. Sabino D'Agostino, our board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted spine surgery.

Before medicine, Lamar spent 6 years in the Navy as a Corpsman, serving alongside Navy and Marine personnel. He went on to earn his BS in Biology from Charleston Southern University and his Master's in PA Studies from MUSC. With 10+ years of orthopedic experience in joint arthroplasty, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma, he brings a well-rounded background to our spine care team.

Outside the clinic, you'll catch Lamar playing music, fishing, hunting, or at a live concert.
