Heel to Toes II is a small business inspired by and named after a dear friend of mine, Donna Motak, a beautiful, kindhearted and amazing woman who lost her battle with cancer in March 2020. In December 2016 my sister-in-law and best friend of 23 years died very unexpectedly two days before Christmas. As a result of this sudden loss, I often found myself sobbing uncontrollably and in a state of sev
ere depression. In an effort to work through these emotions I would call Donna and she would always find time to fit me in for a session. While I would walk in hardly able to carry on a conversation due to the overwhelming emotions, I would leave a session feeling like a thousand pounds had been lifted from my chest and was able to move on with my day free of those emotions that were draining me. In addition to the emotional relief I experienced with reflexology, I have also seen relief from debilitating pain that I experience as a result of arthritis in my hip, allowing me to return to a more active lifestyle. These experiences coupled with the desire to want to help people heal in a more holistic and chemical free way lead me to begin my training to become a Certified Reflexologist in September 2020.
