💜 May 22 is 2026 💜
Preeclampsia isn’t "just high blood pressure." It is a serious pregnancy complication that affects 5–8% of all births in the U.S. and can develop suddenly after 20 weeks or even postpartum. We want every expectant parent to know the warning signs. If you experience any of these red flags, don't wait - call us immediately:
🚩Persistent Headaches: Severe or worsening, and not relieved by rest or Tylenol.
🚩Vision Changes: Seeing spots, flashing lights, or blurred vision.
🚩Sudden Swelling: In the face, hands, or around the eyes.
🚩Upper Abdominal Pain: Often under the ribs on the right side.
🚩Shortness of Breath: New or sudden difficulty breathing.
Early detection is our best tool. We are here to monitor you closely at every prenatal and postpartum visit to ensure a safe journey for both you and your baby.

Ovarian cancer is often called the "disease that whispers" because its symptoms can be subtle and easily mistaken for other issues. This , we want to help you listen to your body.
Watch for these four key signs:
1️⃣Bloating: Persistent, not just occasional.
2️⃣Eating: Feeling full quickly or difficulty eating.
3️⃣Abdominal Pain: Pelvic or stomach discomfort.
4️⃣Urinary Changes: Increased urgency or frequency.
If these symptoms are new and last for more than two weeks, it's time to talk to us. Early detection saves lives. 💙

May is Preeclampsia Awareness Month!
🚨Preeclampsia is a dangerous blood pressure condition that can happen to any pregnant person, sometimes even after birth.
🤰Preeclampsia affects nearly 1 in 20 pregnancies, but knowledge is your best defense.
🫀Up to 6 weeks postpartum, you are still at risk for high blood pressure complications. Don't ignore a "post-baby" headache or sudden shortness of breath.
🩺 We want every patient to feel empowered to discuss their blood pressure and symptoms at every visit. No question is too small when it comes to the safety of you and your baby.
