We’re always looking for a reason to celebrate at Salterra at Fort Myers Opal, and today was no exception! 💕🦋

Today we celebrated National Dolly Parton Day, and our residents and staff went all out—because when it comes to Dolly, there’s no other way!

From the Dolly-themed décor and music to delicious food and lots of laughter, it was a day filled with smiles and unforgettable memories.

A special thank you to Kristy for making Dolly’s famous potato salad recipe. It was an absolute hit! We have a feeling Dolly herself would be proud. ❤️

At Salterra at Fort Myers Opal, it’s moments like these that remind us life is meant to be celebrated—one song, one smile, and one memory at a time. 💖🎶🦋

💕✨ GLAM-MA SHOTS! ✨💕

Today, our Opal and Assisted Living residents got the full VIP treatment! 💄💋👑 Hair done, makeup on, and plenty of sparkle as our beautiful ladies got dressed up and ready for their very own “Glam-ma Shots!” 📸✨

It’s days like today that you stop for a moment and realize… this is what life is truly about. ❤️

The smiles, the laughter, the silliness, and the pure JOY shared today were absolutely PRICELESS. Seeing our residents light up, feel beautiful, laugh together, and simply enjoy the moment is a memory we will treasure forever.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our Opal family members and friends who participated and helped make this day so incredibly special. Because of you, our residents didn’t just have their pictures taken—they made memories and felt like the stars they truly are! 🌟👑

Our Opal residents had an amazing time during our Resin Art Class, creating these one-of-a-kind masterpieces! From beautiful seashell trinket dishes and decorative trays to colorful frogs, personalized names, and floral candle holders, every piece reflects the creativity and individuality of its artist.

Activities like these are more than just fun—they encourage self-expression, spark conversation, and create meaningful moments together.

We are so proud of our talented residents and can’t wait to see what they create next!

A heartfelt thank you to the North Fort Myers Fire Department for helping bring one of our Opal community resident’s lifelong career back to life.

As he walked into the parking lot and saw the surprise waiting for him, the very first words out of his mouth were, “There’s my big red truck!”

After more than 40 years, he climbed aboard as if it were his very first day on the job. Watching his face light up and seeing those cherished memories come rushing back was something none of us will ever forget.

Moments like these can’t truly be put into words. They remind us that memories never fade—they simply wait for the right moment to come alive again.

Thank you, North Fort Myers Fire Department, for your kindness, your generosity, and for giving our resident a day that will forever leave footprints on our hearts. ❤️🚒

🇺🇸 Our residents kicked off the Fourth of July weekend in true patriotic style! They enjoyed festive red, white, and blue drinks, delicious food, lively music, and, most importantly, time spent with wonderful friends. ❤️🤍💙
