We’ve seen several misconceptions about HeartCode® Complete within the AHA instructor community recently, and we wanted to address a few of them.

HeartCode Complete is not online-only CPR training. It combines AHA online learning with a required hands-on skills session using a CPR Verification Station. Learners receive real-time feedback, must meet objective performance standards, and must successfully complete both portions before receiving an AHA eCard.

Self-directed does not mean lower standards, and it does not eliminate the need for instructors. Educators remain essential for remediation, quality assurance, team-based training, and supporting learners who need additional coaching.

HeartCode Complete is simply another AHA training pathway that offers greater flexibility while maintaining hands-on practice, skills testing, and accountability.

We are excited to announce the opening of our newest Survival Group CPR Verification Station at 40 Richards Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut.

This new location brings convenient access to American Heart Association HeartCode Complete training for healthcare providers, students, employers, and public safety professionals throughout lower Fairfield County.
