Good pizza, great people & even better company!

Last Friday, we celebrated our amazing staff AND our recent recognition as a Best Place to Work! 🏆❤️

Since we spend so much time with our work family, we thought it was only fair to invite our actual families to join the fun! Staff and their loved ones came together for dinner from the New Haven Pizza Truck, plenty of laughs, and a chance to meet the residents and coworkers they hear so much about at home. 😊

Because being a Best Place to Work is pretty easy when you have the BEST people to work with! ❤️🍕

After a little time away, one of our residents returned to The Landing today, and his card playing crew was ready to welcome him back with open arms! ☺️

It was a heartwarming reminder that our community is about so much more than where you live, it’s about the friendships, connections, and people who notice when you’re seat at the table is empty.

And with poker on the schedule tonight, we have a feeling the competition is going to be fierce! ♠️♥️♣️♦️

Today, our team from The Landing of North Haven had the privilege of stepping away from our daily roles and into our community to make a difference. 💙

Through Leisure Care's commitment to giving back, we spent the day at the Ronald McDonald House Connecticut & Western Massachusetts preparing a homemade lasagna lunch for 30 families who are staying there while their children receive medical treatment.

Our residents, families, and team also came together to collect toys, which we were honored to donate to help bring a little extra comfort and joy during such a difficult time.

We are incredibly grateful to work for a company that encourages us to serve others beyond our community walls. Small acts of kindness can make a lasting impact, and today was a beautiful reminder of the power of compassion, teamwork, and giving back. ❤️
