A Leadership Update from Life Unlimited:

After 12 years of dedicated leadership, Julie Edlund’s service as CEO of Life Unlimited has come to an end. We are deeply grateful for Julie’s leadership, commitment, and the lasting impact she has made on our organization, the individuals we support, and the communities we serve.

The Life Unlimited Board of Directors has appointed Erin Scraper to serve as Interim CEO while a search is underway for the organization’s next permanent CEO.

Erin brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in healthcare and behavioral health organizations. We are confident in her ability to help guide Life Unlimited during this transition.

Our mission remains the same. Our commitment to the individuals and families we serve remains unwavering. Our Board, leadership team, and employees continue to focus on providing the high-quality services, supports, and opportunities our community has come to expect.

We are grateful for the continued partnership of our employees, families, supporters, and community members. Together, we will continue moving life forward.

Advocacy starts with showing up—and today, that happened over coffee. ☕️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Coffee for Change, hosted in partnership with Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council, The Whole Person - Disability, and eitas . Together, we learned more about how our voices can shape policies that strengthen opportunities and protect the rights of people with disabilities.

Looking for one simple way to take action today? Add your voice in support of protecting Section 504 and urge Missouri to withdraw from the lawsuit challenging these important disability protections.

For 28 years, Sarah has poured her heart into supporting Life Unlimited through what many longtime bowlers still lovingly call the Sarah Oyen Classic. That event has grown into today’s Life Unlimited Bowl-A-Thon, helping create opportunities and brighter futures for the people we serve.

Thank you, Sarah, for nearly three decades of dedication, passion, and community spirit. Your impact reaches far beyond the bowling lanes.
