On This Date: August 1, 2018
Eight years ago today, I had the privilege of being one of the founders of F.A.I.T.H. Wellness Transport as we provided transportation services to our very first client. Looking back on where we started and seeing where we are today fills me with gratitude, pride, and humility.
What began with a vision, three vehicles, handwritten schedules, and an unwavering commitment to serving our community has grown into something truly special. Eight years later, we are just as dedicated to providing compassionate, reliable transportation as we were on that very first day.
The journey has not always been easy, but it has been worth every challenge. Over the years, we've gone through six company logos, operated from four offices (five if you count working from home), transitioned from handwritten schedules and text messages to a dedicated dispatch team, expanded from a few vehicles to an entire fleet, and grown from providing ambulatory transportation to offering ADA and gurney transportation services.
As we celebrate this milestone, I also pause to reflect on those who helped build the foundation of F.A.I.T.H. and are no longer with us. I honor the memory of the clients we've lost along the way, as well as co-founder Brenda Chaney. Their vision, sacrifice, and dedication helped create an organization that continues to serve others every day. Their legacy lives on in everything we do.
Looking at our very first business card reminds me of how far we've come. While many things have changed over the years, one thing remains constant: our commitment to serving people with compassion, dignity, reliability, and excellence.
To our clients, employees, community partners, allies, and supporters, thank you. Thank you for believing in our mission, trusting our services, and helping us grow into the organization we are today. Your support has been instrumental in every milestone we've achieved.
As we celebrate eight years of service, I look forward to the future with the same faith, determination, and passion that started this journey on August 1, 2018.
