Your prenatal visits are how your provider follows your pregnancy as it changes week by week, and the schedule shifts as your baby grows.

Until 28 weeks, you will typically come in every four weeks for growth checks and to hear your baby's heartbeat.

From 28 to 36 weeks, visits move to every two weeks for labs and closer monitoring as you head into the third trimester.

From 36 to 40 weeks, visits become weekly as you and your provider prepare for delivery at MountainView Hospital.

If your pregnancy is high-risk, expect more frequent check-ins, which simply means your team is paying close attention to you and your baby every step of the way.

Send this to a friend who just saw her positive test!

If you have spent years hearing that your pain is "just cramps" or "nothing to worry about," this one is for you.

Endometriosis is a chronic condition that causes real, sometimes debilitating pain, and it is frequently underdiagnosed or mistaken for something else entirely.

The symptoms can include severe pelvic pain, pain during or after s*x, heavy or irregular periods, fatigue, and digestive issues.

If your pain has been dismissed, you were not wrong to keep pushing for answers.

Endometriosis can begin as early as adolescence, and the sooner it is identified, the sooner you can get a care plan that actually works.

If this sounds like your story, or like someone you care about, share this post!

If your pain has been dismissed and you are ready for real answers, head to https://naderobgyn.com/ to schedule your appointment and read more on endometriosis symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options.

Dryness, discomfort, and mild leaks sometimes have answers that live outside of hormones and surgery, which is genuinely good news for women looking for another path.

There is an in-office, non-hormonal option for women dealing with vaginal dryness, painful s*x, mild leaks, vulvar irritation, postpartum tissue changes, or postmenopausal tissue changes.

The standard course is three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, with each session running about 30 minutes right in our office, and there is zero downtime so you can go straight back to your day.

Vaginal dryness can get worse over time without treatment, and it is very treatable, so you should not feel like you have to choose between hormones and pushing through it.

Send this to a friend who has been told her only options are hormones or "wait it out"!

If any of these symptoms sound like what you are managing, visit https://naderobgyn.com/ to schedule your appointment and read more on this treatment.

A healthy pregnancy actually starts before the positive test, and the work you do ahead of conception can make a real difference in your outcomes.

If you are thinking about trying to conceive in the next six to twelve months, a preconception visit with your provider is one of the most useful things you can do for yourself and your future baby.

That visit covers a medication review for what is safe in pregnancy, stabilizing any chronic conditions, starting folic acid roughly three months ahead of conception, updating vaccinations, walking through family history and genetic screening, and looking at your cycle and fertility patterns.

Send this to a friend who is in the "maybe next year" stage!

If conceiving is on your radar in the next year, visit https://naderobgyn.com/ to schedule your preconception appointment and read more on fertility planning.

Periods are one of those things where everyone's "normal" looks a little different, and that can make it really hard to know when something is actually off.

When heavy bleeding happens month after month, it can leave you exhausted, anemic, and planning your whole life around your cycle.

So how do you know when your flow crosses the line from heavy to too heavy?

Test yourself before you scroll.

…

The answer is B! Passing blood clots larger than a quarter is one of the key signs that your bleeding may qualify as menorrhagia, which is the medical term for abnormally heavy periods.

Other signs include bleeding that lasts longer than 7 days, needing to change a pad or tampon every 1 to 2 hours, or waking up at night to change protection.

If any of that sounds familiar, it is worth talking to your provider because heavy bleeding can be caused by things like Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS), thyroid issues, fibroids, or hormonal imbalances, and there are real treatment options.

Share this with a friend who might need to hear it!

If you have had a cesarean section (C-section) before, a vaginal birth might still be on the table for your next baby, and an honest conversation with your provider is the best place to start.

For a lot of women, the answer is yes, and for some it is no, but you deserve to have all the information laid out clearly before any decision is made.

You may be a good candidate for a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) if you have had one prior C-section with a low transverse incision, your pregnancy is low-risk, and your baby is in a head-down position.

The benefits often include a shorter recovery, lower surgical risk, less blood loss, and more flexibility for future deliveries, all of which matter when you are thinking about your family long term.

All VBACs in our practice are delivered at MountainView Hospital with continuous monitoring, so you and your baby are watched closely from start to finish.

Send this to a friend who thinks her birth options were already decided!

If you are pregnant and curious whether a VBAC could be right for you, visit https://naderobgyn.com/ to schedule your appointment and read more on birth planning.

One in three women will deal with bladder leaks at some point in her life, so if this is something you are navigating, you are absolutely not alone and you are absolutely not stuck with it.

Leaks when you laugh, sneeze, or run are incredibly common, and common does not have to mean permanent or untreatable.

Pelvic floor therapy with a specialist can rebuild the muscles that hold everything in place, and it works for a lot of women who try it.

Bladder training helps retrain the urge so you are not planning your day around the nearest restroom, and in-office procedures are available when more support is needed.

Leaking urine is a medical condition with real treatments, and you have not aged out of deserving answers, so if something is bothering you, it is worth a visit.

Send this to a friend who has been quietly mapping every restroom she walks past!

If bladder leaks are part of your daily life, head to https://naderobgyn.com/ to schedule your appointment and read more on pelvic floor health and bladder care.

If your doctor has ever told you that you are "too young" for perimenopause, you are not alone, and you are not wrong for pushing back.

One of the most frustrating myths about this transition is the idea that it only happens right before menopause, when in reality, the hormonal shifts can start much earlier than most women expect.

Symptoms like brain fog, anxiety, irregular periods, and sleep problems can show up years before your periods actually stop.

If something feels different in your body, trust that instinct.

Perimenopause is not something you need to just push through.

Your provider can evaluate your symptoms and create a plan that actually helps.

If this sounds like someone you know, share this post with her!

If you have been told you are "too young" for what your body is clearly going through, head to https://naderobgyn.com/ to schedule your appointment and read more on perimenopause and what you can do about it.

Obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound is done right in our office, which means fewer trips across town and more answers in a single visit.

We use it to confirm and date a pregnancy and to monitor your baby's growth as you move through each trimester.

We also use it to find the cause of pelvic pain and guide treatment, to evaluate cysts and fibroids by size and location, and to support procedures like intrauterine device (IUD) placement and biopsy guidance.

The whole process is safe and painless, and most results are discussed the same day while you are still in the office, so you do not leave wondering what comes next.

Send this to a friend who is tired of bouncing between providers for one answer!

If you need imaging or have a concern that may need a closer look, head to https://naderobgyn.com/ to schedule your appointment and read more on what ultrasound can tell us.

Heavy periods, pelvic pressure, and frequent bathroom trips do not have to be just life now, because they could very well be fibroids, and fibroids are common, treatable, and not something you have to live with.

Some signs to take seriously include heavy or prolonged periods, pelvic pressure or fullness, frequent urination, pain during s*x, and trouble getting pregnant.

The good news is that there are real options at every level of treatment, depending on your symptoms, your goals, and your future plans.

Medication paths include hormones, an intrauterine device (IUD), and gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) therapy.

Non-surgical options include uterine artery embolization, which can shrink fibroids without major surgery.

Surgical options include myomectomy, which removes fibroids while preserving the uterus, or hysterectomy when that is the right choice for you.

Send this to a friend who has been quietly white-knuckling her cycle!

If any of these fibroid symptoms sound familiar, visit https://naderobgyn.com/ to schedule your appointment and read more on fibroid treatment options.
