2. Cases under an attorney lien. Most imaging labs and pain management will see patients under an attorney backed lien.
3. Providing care while billing the other driver's insurance, known as third party billing. This can only be don

e if an assignment of proceeds is signed (AOP). You must have the other driver's insurance claim number and their insurance company contact information. The AOP works best when the other driver has already admitted fault. Most imaging labs and pain management will no longer accept third party billing. New patients with a personal injury claim can make an appointment for their initial consultation, physical examination, and either receive an x-ray referral to an imaging lab or request to review diagnostic images if already taken at another healthcare facility such as a hospital.
