After my recent GI surgery I could not be active as I usually am. I noticed my lack of movement was negatively impacting not only my hypermobile joints but also causing significant restless leg problems at night. This inactivity was temporarily necessary to allow healing. But after pacing the house at night to reduce the restless legs, I tried my weighted blanket over my legs. It did the trick. Just throwing it out there if anyone else struggles with this and hasn’t tried it. Everyone is different. This is not a universal solution but one that I tried and worked for me so I thought I’d share the active problem solving. Good news is once I increased daily activity again the restless legs went away. But good to know that this is a tool in the tool box!
