Action steps in response to the recent events with COVID-19:
The following office policy is in effect until events change:
*Any patient with a high temperature or flu like symptoms is to call the office before keeping or making an appointment. Our staff will be checking temperature when entering the room with each patient to ensure the safety of the office.
*Any employee with a temperature of flue like symptoms will be sent home until their temperature returns to normal. All employees will have their temperature taken in the morning and after lunch. This will be logged to ensure no staff has become ill.
*In addition to daily and interpersonal cleaning regimens, we are taking additional measures to wipe down all surfaces that patients and staff come in contact with, using a hospital grade disinfectant.
*We have have limited access points into our facility. Those entering can only do so through the doors leading to the front desk, under the 'Family and Sport Chiropractic' sign. Other doors are locked indefinitely.
*We ask that on arrival, patients use hand sanitizer, which is provided at the front desk. Even if we run out of hand sanitizer, we will always have plenty of good old fashioned soap, water and paper towels to keep everyone clean and healthy.
