Our PGY1 pharmacy resident, Dr. Bonita Alisa, presented her research project, “Comparing Pharmacist Impact in Inpatient Valproic Acid and Lithium Monitoring,” at the MidSouth Pharmacy Residents Conference in Memphis today! 📈 Dr. Andrew Gibbs and Dr. Sydney Bridges served as research mentors for this project. Congratulations to all on a successful presentation. Another step closer to residency graduation! ✅

We are excited to announce that we have matched Natalie Smith from as one of our PGY1 pharmacy residents for the upcoming 2026-2027 year. Natalie completed two of her APPEs with us this past summer, and we can’t wait to have her smiling face back with us! 😃

We will be moving to Phase II of the Match for our second PGY1 pharmacy resident position! Be on the lookout 👀 for more details and our application deadline to come! 🗓️

All good things must come to an end 🥲 Our last day of preceptor spotlights features our internal medicine preceptors!

First, Dr. Hannah Hunt! 👩🏼‍⚕️ A graduate of , she completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency here at Baptist Health - North Little Rock. She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, and in addition to precepting internal medicine, she also precepts cardiology 🫀, AND serves as our APPE/IPPE Coordinator!

Last, but most certainly not least, Dr. Josh Lowery! 👨🏻‍⚕️ He is a graduate of and completed his PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Christus St. Vincent in Santa Fe, NM. A Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, he also serves as our critical care preceptor! 🫁
